Tahuko Foundation is a volunteer driven, California based not-for-profit organization exempt under section 501(c)(3), that is focused on the preservation and growth of the Gujarati language, literature & music.
It publishes all types of Literature in the Gujarati language – prose, poetry & composed songs through two prominent literary websites in the Gujarati Language –
www.tahuko.com (since 2006) & www.aapnuaangnu.com (since 2020)
The foundation also has a significant focus on academia and has been organizing live workshops on creative writing by hiring renowned writers & professionals of Gujarat as faculty, who specialize in their area of literature. In these workshops, the faculty defines a comprehensive curriculum and teaches how to write in various forms of Gujarati literature to students of all ages through regular sessions.
The foundation has been organizing cultural, literary & musical programs since 2013 in the USA & India, promoting local poets/writers, singers, and composers, as well as inviting legends of Gujarati literature & music from India.
